Green steel from the electric arc furnace
​
The steel we use consists of 90% recycled scrap and 10% alloy elements. The steel production in the electric arc furnace is solely powered by electricity from sustainable energies. This results in 94% less carbon emissions during steelmaking than the global average ((Scope 1 and 2, worldsteel (71% blast furnace route / 29% electric arc furnace route)).

Sustainable manufacturing at our production site

The energy required for our production is also sourced 100% from renewable sources, largely generated by our photovoltaic system with 145 solar modules. Further energy is supplied in the form of green electricity.
